Costume Design

 

A swirling mass of turbulent winds, a low pressure system of speed and danger, but yet with a soft, calm, warm centre

We were invited to design costumes for Elimu Paddington Arts in collaboration with fashion designer Monifa Samuels.  We developed the concept for around the idea of hurricanes and their winds of change.  The costumes reflected the riots in london and the arab spring as well as the environmental challenges.

We worked together to develop the theme and breakdown of the costumes working eventually with a production company and team as well as volunteers to make the costumes.
