This project involved a side return extension on the ground floor, connecting two levels, and a loft extension to house a master bedroom and en-suite shower room.
The side return featured glazed roof-lights, the light from which helped to delineate lounging and cooking areas within the kitchen space. They also helped with the transition between the higher level of the connecting sitting room and the lower level of the kitchen/ dining room.
A light and airy space was created in the loft with double doors opening on to a Juliette balustrade. Sliding doors maximise the space between the en-suite, which hangs over the stairs, and main room.
The project was a collaboration with Charlotte Crosland Interiors.
